02Who can become a distributor, dealer?
The distributors are caerfully chosen by us. Our distributors and dealers have to show, that they are capable of serving our customers and able to follow local and international medical regulations.

04How can I order the device?
The device can be ordered directly from the Oncotherm headquarter in Hungary or depending on your location from the responsible distributor.

06Which financing options are possible for an Oncotherm device?
If you wish we can make contact to a leasing company that might be able to help you with financing a device.

07Where may I study the device and its handling?
Our devices are presented at the headquarter of Oncotherm Kft., however, we have special reference places in various areas. Please contact our center for detailed information.

08Who is certified to use the device?
The intended user of the device is a physician and/or trained clinical staff under the physician's supervision. The training of the use is issued by Oncotherm Kft.

09How is the delivery of the device organized?
The Oncotherm Kft directly organizes the delivery worldwide, but it also could be the subject of a separate agreement.

10How long is the guarantee/warranty period?
The guarantee/warranty for the device is two years. But we offer service contracts covering maintenance and repairs for the following years.

11What is requested for the installation?
Prior to the installation Oncotherm issues a pre-installation sheet, in order to be informed about the conditions. It is highly recommended to ask our team to consult the place about the installation conditions. Generally, a room approx. 12 m2 is required, but a room over 20 m2 would be optimal. An electric network with 16 A current supply is requested. A good ventilation (in smaller rooms air condition) is also suggested.

12Can I get help with my "marketing policy", informing my patients about the actualities and the activities of my clinic?
Yes, we can help you by providing informative materials, brochures, lectures, special collections and design as well.

13Where can I find places where the treatment is provided?
Our website lists the Oncothermia users and their contact details for your convenience. You can also request a list from our office.

14Is Oncothermia a common treatment?
Yes, since it is becoming more and more known.
Most of the conferences held in the field of complementary oncology have lectures or even full sessions on Oncothermia (hyperthermia). In addition, considerable numbers of clinics, hospitals, day-clinics and oncology-ambulances have Oncothermia (hyperthermia) treatment facilities. -
15Can the treatment be combined with other methods?
Yes, we recommend the treatment of Oncothermia with the combination of other standard cancer treatment therapies. Please ask the physician about your actual case.

16Can medical personnel and/or my family members stay with me during the treatment?
Yes, if there isn't any special other condition. Please ask the physician about your actual case.

17Can I get the treatment on outpatient basis?
Yes, if there isn't any special other condition that limits your moving freedom or other connected problems which demand hospitalization. Oncothermia itself does not require permanent medical observation or inpatient treatment.

18Is the treatment reimbursed by a health insurance?
In some countries yes. In others the costs are only covered by private insurance companies. Unfortunately, there are also countries where no reimbursement is available, yet.
