Az Oncothermia Journal legújabb különszáma (37. kötet) az olasz piacra irányítja a figyelmet, bemutatva az ország egyre fontosabb szerepét az onkotermia fejlődésében.
A kiadvány összefoglalja az Oncotherm in Italy Conference legfontosabb előadásait, klinikai tapasztalatait és kutatási eredményeit. Kiemelt helyet kapott benne a nemrég alapított Società Italiana di Ipertermia Oncologica (SIIO) bemutatása is, amely mérföldkő az onkológiai hipertermia olaszországi történetében. A társaság célja, hogy elősegítse a hipertermia beillesztését a nemzeti egészségügyi rendszerbe, támogassa a klinikai kutatásokat, valamint erősítse az együttműködést a központok, szakemberek és betegszervezetek között.
